Monday, March 26, 2001 - 12:54 cstNothing that new to report right now. You might be interested in a new beastlord site, if you are planning to play one with the expansion, if so, go to: I wonder if Vah'shir will be able to be monks, like the iksar were. I doubt it, but I hear the Beastlords can wear monk equipment! Thanks! Monday, March 26, 2001 - 12:54 cstTry out the link on the bottom right. The Thumper will help you max all those monk skills. Thanks! Friday, February 16, 2001 - 3:31 cstCool new armor from the tailoring skill - Pantherskin armor. More information as I get it. Thanks! Wednesday, November 29, 2000 - 10:31 cstStill looking for guides and other monk stuff.. Feel free to send it in to me! Thanks! Wednesday, November 16, 2000 - 11:16 cstPart of the Patch changed the Monk weapons. Hurrah! Made some great changes for the folks that like to use the ol' fists! Now the haste is a clickable haste (Stacks with Item Haste - NOT enchanter/shaman haste). I have heard that it makes your fists into 9/16 weapons as well. Can someone confirm this for me? - Thanks Wednesday, November 15, 2000 - 8:26 cstPatch message - courtesy of Casters Realm Wednesday, November 15, 2000 - 8:15 cstI've got to admit, I haven't been working on the site much. I took a break to work on a Cazic-Thule guide and I've been having a bunch of fun with that. My group on the Test server has been in Cazic Thule for the past 2 weeks. (You will be hearing a bunch about this group, Tain Shari, since they are the ones I play my monk with) Monday, November 13, 2000 - 2:15 cstTesting the Background and stuffs. Going to keep the simple Jekhar guide style though. Just different colors. Let me know what you think: Monday, November 13, 2000 - 1:15 cstTidbits from Gordon: These are the same types of suggestions that come up once in a while in regards to critical hits. People don't like to see "crits" that are no higher than their average blow, but it can happen. A crit just means that you're hitting for more damage that hit than you would have if you hadn't had a crit that blow. On *average*, you will get much higher crits than your average blow, because your blows remain average. The same is true for Thunderkick. You will have the occasional bad roll, but your average one will be much higher than your average unassisted kick. This is how they are designed to work. -Gordon From the Everquest Message Board: Monday, November 06, 2000 - 10:48cstVeeshan's Peak has been taken down by none other than Fires of Heaven. From the sounds of it, the loot was NOT as jaw - dropping as people had hoped. More information as it is known, for now, you can read what one person had to say about it, who was there: Everquest Message Board Topic: Now that VP has been cleared... Friday, November 03, 2000 - 2:08cstWell, i thought I'd throw this your way as well. I know you love these screenshots: Friday, November 03, 2000 - 1:43cstJust found this picture on the Monkley-Business message board. Looks like this is for real. Now everyone can just fight over whether it is a good item or not. Friday, November 03, 2000 - 10:30cstWell, I'd be a little remiss if I didn't post the stats for the monk FA item. Yes, not weapon, item. I do want to stress that this is just information from a player on the Test server, and is not even verified. But if it is correct, here it is: Celestial Fists I'm an old school girl, and barely ever get out the blunts, so this is sweet for me! Course it'll be awhile. Friday, November 03, 2000 - 09:30cstTGIF - Still working on things, but the site should breeze along in a week or so, when I have no job =) hehe.. send donations to: blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah.. Thursday, November 02, 2000I am thinking of advertising this site on some of the main news sites, to get it rolling, but I just don't know if there is really enough material here yet. I shall meditate on this, and see what I find. Any advice is appreciate, just go to the forums, I shall meditate there. Wednesday, November 01, 2000Ah, so grasshopper. I see you have found your way to the monkery. Much work to be done, that is true. Keep an eye open, and you shall find the peace inside you. Much work has already been done, but not by my hand. It has been done by our worthy mentors. You shall see much from them, and you shall see some from me. Hopefully, if you are a worthy monk, we shall see some from you as well. |
